Join WSI For a day of Basketball fun!
WSI is again participating in Fundraiser Tournament. Below is some information about attending this event:
This Saturday 2/23 at 9:30 am is when the basketball games begin at Collegiate High School. If you are planning on playing show up around 9 AM.
If you have a Wheelchair Sport's wheelchair we need it for the games and you can contact Danny Johnson to coordinate getting the chair there if you are not going to be able to attend.
They will have food and drinks for people to buy and last year things were done by late afternoon. We will have one team so come, play and have fun.

Each team is guaranteed at least 3 games, 2 in pool play, and then one in a single elimination bracket play.
Following pool play, teams will be seeded into a bracket, based on win-loss record, points allowed, and points scored. Single elimination bracket play will begin at 1:30. Our lunch break for everyone is 1:00-1:30. We will have a full concession stand available with pizza, candy, and drinks.
Teams will keep playing as long as they win when bracket play begins. Once they lose in bracket play, they are done, but if they continue winning, they should plan to be at WCS until 5:30, when the championship will end.
The structure for games is as follows:
Side to side courts
10 minute running clock halves
3 minute running clock halftime
7 minutes in between games to change chairs, warm up, etc.
In the event that overtime is necessary:
The first overtime will be 1 minute running clock
The second overtime is sudden death (first team to score)
