Look for directional signs after you are in the lake area.

Sun just naturally leads to fun! And that's definitely the case at our annual SUMMER SPLASH.

It’ll be a weekend filled with activities designed for persons with physical disabilities. Plan to bring your family and friends; they'll have a great time, too.

Some of the activities being planned consist of:
Water skiing & boating…
We'll provide the boats and Kanski water skis. The skiing's a blast. Jet skiing and pontoon boat rides will be available.

Camping . . .
If you like campfires and sleeping under the stars, we’ve
reserved plenty of room with great facilities. If you
need assistance, please bring someone to lend a
helping hand.

Chowing Down . . .
Lunch and dinner Saturday are included in entry fee.
Soft drinks/water will be available throughout the
day on Saturday.

The Wichita Paralympic Experience will introduce persons with physical disabilities to Paralympic sports. In addition to hands-on participation in Boccia, Tennis & Handcycling, the participants will interact with Paralympic athletes and local coaches. There will also be educational sessions on Paralympic sports for parents, teachers, coaches, program leaders and rehabilitation specialists.

Day at the Lake July 16 at Smithville Lake, in northwest Missouri.
 
Summer Splash to be held July 24 at the El Dorado Lake.
 
Paralympics Sports Experience to be held July 31 in Maize, either the High School or Middle School.  More information to follow regarding the venue, times, etc.  Among the events offered are Handcycling, Tennis and Boccie.
 
Grooveability Wheelchair Dance Troupe Exhibition and Clinic to be held August 21 from 5 to 8, possibly to be held at Derby.
 
Basketball Tournament tentatively planned for November at WSU.
