OK--GET YOUR WARM CLOTHES OUT AND BRING YOUR HELPING HANDS TO THE EXTREME MAKEOVER BUILD MONDAY NIGHT, 21ST.
Here's the plan we are meeting at Justin and Alexa Daily's house in west Wichita AT 5:00.
We will then caravan to the Mel Hambelton dealership on Kellogg and 119th st west.
At this location we will be shuttled to the build site. (YES-I am verifying the wheelchair accessibility of these shuttles and our options if they are inaccessible).
Our hope is to be able to show support for this build for the Carl Hall family who is a newly injured quadriplegic and represent what is CAPABLE AND POSSIBLE even with a disability.
They are asking for donations of beverages; sports drinks, water, pop, vitamin water, etc. If each of us could donate a case of beverages that would be huge!
I am also trying to secure another time for us to assist with the build. More details to come.
PLEASE WEAR ANY CLOTHING OR HATS THAT IDENTIFY WHEELCHAIR SPORTS, or attire with events that involve wheelchair users, if possible.
