Air Capitol Classic Wheelchair Tennis Camp & Tournament
June 29-July 3, 2011
This year we are proud to announce a huge addition to our annual tournament. We will host a two day camp before the tournament with the camp beginning on Wednesday, June 29th at 6:30 PM and ending on Friday, July 1st at Noon. The cost for the camp and tournament is the low price of $100!!!! In addition, the first 20 out of town players who enter & pay for the camp and tournament will get their hotels for the camp and tournament completely FREE! All rooms will be double occupancy rooms and will be available Wednesday-Saturday night. In order to receive the free rooms you must attend the camp.
We are fortunate to have a tremendously knowledgeable and skilled teaching staff.
The camp will feature:
Dan James-3 time Head U.S. Paralympic Coach, Head U.S. National Coach
Paul Walker-U.S. Women's World Team Cup Coach, U.S. National Coach, former top 30 in ITF World Rankings in Men's Open
Nick Taylor-2 time Paralympic Gold Medalist, 6 time Grand Slam Winner, currently ranked #4 in ITF World Rankings in Quad Open.
Jeff Clark-USPTA Certified, NTRP 5.0, Director of Tennis for City of Wichita, Private coach to Nick Taylor 2003-2006
The two days of camp will include sessions on all aspects of the game and will be a valuable learning experience for both the beginner and experienced player.
Costs:
Camp & Tournament = $100
Tournament only = $35
The tournament will be the same as in past years with registration starting at noon, Friday, July 1st and ending Sunday afternoon July 3rd. On Friday night we will host our fun filled Up/Down social event and Saturday evening we will host banquet featuring BBQ ribs and all the “fixins.” Applications for the camp and tournament will be available May 9, 2011.

Alternative scoring may be used if needed due to bad weather.
